QUEEN’S CITY

Queen's City is an Indigenous Futurism performance work that flips the 1980s science fiction comedy genre to tell a story that places Blak history at the forefront of. Set in the fictional Queen’s City, this work explores colonialism through theatre merged with music, animation and interactive digital design. The creative development of this work has been supported by Museum of Brisbane, QPAC and the Dr Don Batchelor Award at QUT.

BLAK FRIDAY is a new experiential theatre work by Blak Social. This creative development showing unpacks the ongoing impact of colonisation in the medium of an Indigenised Fright Night. It won't just have you asking questions, it will have you scream them.
